Response to college admissions scandal

posted in: Uncategorized | 0

We wanted to address questions you may have about the college admissions scandal that has roiled the nation during the past couple of weeks. As professionals working in this field, we have been horrified with the ethical lapses that have occurred, and the impact on everyone who wants to apply to college. We strive to help showcase our students’ strengths in every way and we do that by having tremendous faith in their abilities! And without fail, they produce great applications & outstanding outcomes.

Here’s the difference between Navigatio College Counseling and William Rick Singer (the college admissions consultant who masterminded the scheme to defraud colleges in an effort to gain acceptances for students):

As professional members of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) and the Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC), we adhere to strict ethical guidelines. You can review those standards by clicking on the links below.

Suffice it to say, ethical college consultants do not bribe, cheat, perpetrate frauds or engage in any other illegal or immoral behavior in an effort to game the college admissions process.

We have tremendous confidence in our students and we simply encourage them to dig deep and produce the very best essays and applications they can muster! In the end, their high quality applications speak for themselves, and their outcomes are outstanding.

We know there are many upset and disillusioned parents and students out there and we’d be happy to respond further if you have any questions you’d like addressed.
